Yes. Once you're done evaluating Stock Works and have decided to purchase the application for all of your company, stockholder and certificate management needs, you can delete the sample companies, stockholders and certificates if you prefer.

No. If our users choose to print their own certificates, most of them set up a template in Microsoft Word (or another word processing program) to print the information on the certificates. Recently, many of our customers have chosen to go paperless. In other words, they just enter the certificate information in Stock Works, make sure they have good backups for their data file, and they don't have to ever print any actual physical certificates.

No. There is really no need for this as programs such as Microsoft Word do a wonderful job of storing your meeting minutes.

You may install Stock Works on multiple computer systems, subject to the condition that only one such system will be in use at any given time. For example, you may install the software on an office computer and a home computer. If you install in a client server environment and more than one individual will be using Stock Works, you will need to purchase additional keycodes to comply with the license agreement.

Yes, when you go to Add-Remove Programs and uninstall Stock Works, your data file is not deleted. This is by design for the protection of your data. The same holds true if you are reinstalling Stock Works. If you would like a new data file to be installed when reinstalling Stock Works, you can manually delete the data file before the reinstallation. Stock Works will then install a new data file with the reinstallation. The data file is located at C:\Program Files\Stock Works\StockWorksData.mdb.

Yes, just choose the appropriate installation option when installing stock works. Remember that when you install Stock Works to a stand alone system, the back end or database file is located at C:\Program Files\Stock Works\StockWorksData.mdb. When installing to a network, you will want to locate your database on the server. Once you choose your location for the database, remember to link the database using the Attachment Manager in the Stock Works Application. The Attachment Manager is located by clicking the Administration button on the left side of the main menu.
